HPE, Intel and HP Expand AI Operations in Saudi Arabia

Two major technology companies are expanding their artificial-intelligence operations in Saudi Arabia through a set of new hubs and facilities aimed at meeting fast-growing demand for AI computing infrastructure across the Kingdom.

HPE and Intel announced a new Saudi Innovation Center at HPE's new offices in الرياض, launched as part of a "Saudi Made, Developed, Deployed" initiative with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The initiative is designed to speed up the development, validation, and commercialization of AI and digital-transformation solutions locally.

Under the initiative, Saudi companies are set to gain access to locally made infrastructure platforms, hybrid cloud capabilities, engineering expertise, Intel compute and AI technologies, architecture guidance, model optimization, and developer enablement. HPE also announced the launch of new Saudi Made servers, expanding local production and commercialization.

A Center of Excellence in Dhahran

Separately, HP announced a Center of Excellence for AI and research and development in الدمام area (Dhahran), along with an advanced manufacturing facility in الرياض. Together, these moves point to a deepening of AI-related manufacturing and engineering capacity inside the Kingdom.

For residents and businesses, the expansion signals broader access to AI tools, local infrastructure, and engineering support — resources that align with the Kingdom's wider digital-transformation goals. As these hubs come online, Saudi companies may find it easier to build, test, and deploy AI solutions closer to home.
