The King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah recorded the highest single-day visitor count in its history on Thursday, 30 Safar 1448H (September 14, 2026), welcoming 10,558 pilgrims and visitors in one day. The complex is located on Tabuk Street in Madinah.
Entry for individual visitors is free of charge, with no ticket or entrance fee currently required for standard visits. Visits are regulated and usually require a prior appointment booked through the complex's official online visit request portal. Typical public visiting hours in 2026 run Sunday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with the complex closed on Friday and Saturday. Schedules may vary during Hajj and Ramadan peak periods.
During their tour, visitors can observe Qur'an printing operations from a designated viewing gallery and are typically given a free printed Qur'an on exit, with multiple language options available. The complex is open to visitors of all nationalities in Madinah, though access can be tightly scheduled or limited during periods of high demand.
Growing visitor numbers
The record day reflects strong and steady interest in the complex. More than 1.3 million pilgrims and visitors toured the facility between 2025 and 2026, while July 2026 alone drew more than 154,000 visitors from 18 countries. An earlier August month recorded about 97,245 visitors across morning and evening programs.
Groups under official Hajj, Umrah and Visit programs arranged by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs include scheduled tours of the complex as part of their cultural itinerary, with dedicated groups of around 250 pilgrims at a time. For residents and visitors planning a trip to Madinah, the complex offers a free, well-organized cultural experience — best arranged with an advance appointment to secure a spot.
