2026 Sales Campaign: Over 1M Discounted Items

More than one million discounted products are now available across commercial establishments and online stores in Saudi Arabia under the 2026 Sales Campaign, giving shoppers a wide range of deals across the Kingdom. The campaign began at the start of August 2026 and continues until the end of October 2026, running for three months.

The season covers consumer goods across all categories, including food and household items, electrical and electronic appliances, perfumes and cosmetics, clothing and fashion, and home goods — in both physical stores and e-commerce platforms. Discounts vary by product and retailer, with no fixed national rate or unified price list; reductions on selected items can reach high percentages, while final prices are set individually by each participating store.

How the campaign works

Participating retailers must hold electronic discount licenses issued by the Ministry of Commerce through its dedicated sales portal at sales.mc.gov.sa, where applications are submitted, permits are issued instantly, and establishments can print and display their licenses. Importantly, permits under the 2026 season do not deduct from an establishment's normal annual discount allowance, letting stores take part throughout the three-month period as an exceptional discount window.

Promotional materials for licensed sales carry barcodes or QR codes that shoppers can scan to confirm a discount is legitimate and that the store holds an official permit. The Ministry of Commerce is monitoring retailers and online platforms for compliance with discount regulations, license requirements, and the accuracy of displayed prices and discount percentages.

Consumers have been urged to avoid fraudulent links and fake portals imitating the Ministry of Commerce, and to rely only on the official sales portal and recognized ministry channels when verifying licenses or campaign details. No use of Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, or Tawakkalna is required to take part in the campaign, which applies to establishments rather than individual shoppers.
