Combat-sports events in Saudi Arabia are moving ahead as planned, even as a number of other international sports fixtures in the Kingdom face postponement or cancellation. The contrast has become clear across the current events calendar in Riyadh and Jeddah.

On the combat-sports side, the schedule remains firm. The boxing bout between Canelo Álvarez and Christian Mbilli is still set for 31 October 2026 in Riyadh, followed by WWE Crown Jewel on 7 November 2026, also in the capital. UFC Fight Night Riyadh remains planned for 5 December 2026, while PFL MENA 11 was held on 2 October 2026 at Boulevard Riyadh.

Other events have seen changes. The Six Kings Slam tennis tournament was moved from October to 27–30 December 2026 in Riyadh. The FIFAe Finals 2026 in Jeddah were postponed to a date that has not yet been announced, and the Saudi International golf tournament was postponed indefinitely.

A few events were called off entirely. The Urban World Championships cycling event was cancelled, and Rally Saudi Arabia, which had been scheduled for 12–15 November 2026 in Jeddah, was also cancelled. Several Saudi Pro League matches were postponed as well.

For residents and visitors planning their outings, the takeaway is to check the status of each event before making arrangements. No official ticket prices, venue operating details, or updated ticketing channels have been confirmed for the affected events. Fans holding plans around combat sports can expect those dates to stand, while followers of tennis, golf, cycling, football and esports should watch for further updates.
