Saudi carriers are increasing the number of domestic and regional flights to keep pace with rising summer travel demand and ease congestion at airports. Leading the expansion, الخطوط السعودية announced a fixed promotional fare and additional flights across key routes.
الخطوط السعودية set a fixed one-way promotional fare of SAR 150 in Guest Class for travel between its domestic destinations, giving travelers a straightforward pricing option during the busy period.
The airline also raised its flight capacity ahead of Eid al-Fitr 2026, adding 20 extra flights connecting الرياض, جدة, and the البحر الأحمر region. The move targets the peak periods when demand between major cities and destinations climbs sharply.
The added capacity comes on the back of strong operating figures. In 2025, الخطوط السعودية operated 203.9 thousand scheduled and additional flights and served 37 million guests, reflecting steady growth in air travel across the Kingdom.
For residents and expats in الرياض and جدة, the extra flights and fixed fare mean more choices and clearer pricing when planning trips during high-demand seasons. Travelers are advised to confirm booking details, availability, and terms directly through official airline channels before purchasing, as full validity periods and conditions were not detailed.
