The seventh edition of the AlUla Dates Season opens on Friday 18 September 2026, launched by the Royal Commission for AlUla as part of the Khayrat AlUla Agricultural Season 2026–2027. The season runs through the date‑harvesting period into mid‑November 2026, offering residents and visitors a mix of live auctions, market shopping and heritage‑focused family activities.
Two main venues anchor the season. Al Fursan Village hosts the traditional weekend dates auction throughout the season, running on weekends until 15 November 2026. The auction features local varieties such as Barni, Majdool, Halwa Hamra, Anbara, Sifri and other AlUla cultivars, with sales usually held in the late afternoon and evening.
The Al Manshiyah Farmers' Market hosts dates‑season activities and stalls daily from 18 to 27 September 2026, with additional dates‑focused programming every Friday and Saturday between 10 September and 24 October 2026, from 17:00 to 23:00. Visitors can expect direct trade between farmers and buyers, tastings, handicrafts, agritourism experiences and activities highlighting palm‑growing traditions in AlUla Oasis.
Entry to the auction area and the farmers' market is generally free, with visitors paying directly at vendor stalls for dates, local produce and experiences. Mid‑range packed dates typically start around SAR 20–40 while high‑grade or rare varieties sold at auction can reach SAR 60–100 or more
The events are positioned to promote local date production, support farmers' incomes and strengthen the wider Khayrat AlUla agricultural brand. Local farmers register through the Royal Commission for AlUla's agricultural programmes to take part in the auctions and markets, with coordination handled via the commission's dedicated agricultural and investment channels.
