Taif Racing Season 2026 Enters Third Week

The Taif Racing Season 2026 continued into its third week at King Khalid Racecourse in Taif, with two full evenings of racing held on Friday and Saturday, 7–8 August 2026. Each evening featured 11 races, and the week offered a combined 1,475,000 SAR in prize money.

The highlight of the week was the Al Hada Cup, contested by 3-year-old horses over a distance of 1,400 metres, with a prize of 150,000 SAR. The event drew attention from racing fans and families looking for an evening out during the summer season.

The season runs from 24 July to 26 September 2026, with racing held every Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In total, the current calendar includes 20 race nights spread across 10 weekends.

General admission to the racecourse is free, while entry tickets are booked through the WeBook app. Beyond the racing itself, the venue offers a full experience for visitors, including premium hospitality, food trucks, family entertainment, Grandstand seating, live music, a night food market, the Bel Azure restaurant, and a range of retail outlets.

With its mild summer climate, Taif has long been a popular seasonal destination for residents across the Kingdom, and the racing season adds another reason to visit. The mix of competitive sport and family-friendly activities makes the events accessible to both dedicated racing enthusiasts and casual visitors seeking weekend entertainment.
