Motorsport fans in the Kingdom now have a new destination to try out, as SEVEN Abha in the Asir Region has become the first operating Saudi venue for what is described as the world's first Formula E-branded karting experience. The attraction is currently open to the public.
At the heart of the experience is a 428-metre indoor electric-kart track, giving visitors the chance to race in a fully electric setting. The venue offers a range of vehicles to suit different age groups and skill levels, including adult karts, junior karts, and two-seater karts for those who prefer to share the ride.
More venues on the way
SEVEN Abha is the first location to run the Formula E karting experience, with additional venues planned across the Kingdom. These include SEVEN Al Hamra in Riyadh, along with sites in Dammam and Al Kharj. Operating dates for the Formula E karting at these upcoming locations have not yet been confirmed.
For families and residents in Asir and beyond, the launch adds a fresh electric-motorsport option to the region's growing entertainment scene, blending indoor racing with an offering suitable for both adults and younger visitors.
Tickets and opening hours are handled directly through the official SEVEN website. No government platforms or ministry procedures are involved in booking. Ticket prices, opening hours, and booking details should be checked on the official SEVEN channels before visiting.
