The Sixth United Nations World Data Forum and the Second Saudi Statistical Forum, originally scheduled to take place in Riyadh from 9 to 12 November 2026, have been postponed to 2027. The General Authority for Statistics took the decision in coordination with the United Nations Statistics Division.
New dates for 2027 have not yet been announced. Organizers confirmed that preparatory activities under the "Road to Riyadh" initiative will continue in the meantime, keeping momentum building ahead of the rescheduled gatherings.
The World Data Forum brings together statisticians, data experts, policymakers, and representatives from the public and private sectors to discuss ways of improving how data is produced, shared, and used worldwide. Hosting both events in the Kingdom places Riyadh at the center of a major international conversation on data and statistics.
For residents and the wider business community, the forums represent an opportunity to engage with global developments in data standards and innovation. The postponement gives organizers additional time to prepare, while the ongoing preparatory work signals continued commitment to delivering the events.
Saudi Living will share the confirmed 2027 dates and further details once they are officially announced.
