Al Ahli Thrash Abha 4-0 as Toney Nets Hat-Trick

Al Ahli opened their Jeddah home campaign in style, defeating Abha 4–0 at Alinma Bank Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City on Saturday, 22 August 2026, in the second round of the 2026–2027 Roshn Saudi Pro League season. A crowd of 20,784 attended the match, which kicked off at around 21:00 local time.

Ivan Toney was the standout performer, completing a hat-trick with goals in the 5th minute, the 13th minute from the penalty spot, and again in the 57th minute. Francisco Trincão added the fourth goal in the 51st minute, sealing a commanding win for the hosts.

The result lifts Al Ahli to six points from their opening two league games, a perfect start to the new season. Abha, meanwhile, remain on zero points after a second consecutive defeat, leaving them under early pressure in the table.

The clash was a regular-season Saudi Pro League fixture rather than a cup tie. King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah has a football capacity of more than 62,000 seats, making it one of the Kingdom's largest stadiums and a regular host for top-flight matches on the west coast.

For fans planning to attend future matches at the venue, tickets are sold through club and league ticketing channels and mobile apps, with prices that vary by opponent, timing, and demand. Tickets are typically offered in several categories, including regular stands, premium, and hospitality options. Government e-services platforms are not used for match ticket purchases.
