Al Hilal Beat Al Faisaly 4-2 in Pro League Opener

Al Hilal launched their 2026-27 Saudi Pro League campaign with a convincing 4-2 home win over Al Faisaly on 14 August 2026 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, kicking off the new season in front of their supporters.

The result gave Al Hilal a strong start to the domestic title race. With three points and a goal difference of +2 from the opening fixture, the club sat joint top of the standings after Matchweek 1, holding first place on goal difference.

The six-goal contest offered an entertaining opener to the campaign, with Al Hilal ultimately keeping control to secure all three points despite Al Faisaly finding the net twice.

For football fans across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom, the opening weekend marks the return of one of the region's most followed competitions. Kingdom Arena continues to serve as a central venue for major matches in the capital, drawing large crowds for high-profile fixtures.

With the long season now under way, attention turns to the coming rounds as clubs settle into their form and the title picture begins to take shape.
