Al Hilal Begin 2026-27 Preseason After Unbeaten Run

Al Hilal have started their preparations for the 2026–27 season, with training beginning on 1 July 2026 and an overseas camp launching on 15 July 2026, as the Riyadh club builds toward the new campaign at its home base, Kingdom Arena.

The renewed effort follows a strong previous season: in the available 2026 records, Al Hilal finished the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League unbeaten and ended the season in second place. That form has set high expectations among supporters heading into the coming months.

The squad continues to feature a mix of established names cited in the season data, including Marcos Leonardo, Malcom, Sergej Milinković-Savić, Karim Benzema, Mohamed Kanno, and Joshua Brownhill. During the preseason phase, the team recorded a friendly win, beating Sturm Graz II 2–1 on 19 July 2026 in Stegersbach, Austria.

Looking ahead, the 2026–27 season lists its first official match date as 13 August 2026. Al Hilal's next scheduled fixture is against Al Raed on 16 August 2026 in the King's Cup, giving fans an early competitive test of the team's readiness.

For residents in Riyadh, the club's matches at Kingdom Arena remain a popular fixture on the local calendar, drawing large crowds and adding to the city's growing sports and entertainment scene. The coming weeks will show how the preseason work translates into the opening competitive matches.
