Al Nassr Clinch Saudi Pro League Title After Damac Win

Al Nassr drew 1–1 with Al Hilal on 12 May 2026 at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, a result that delayed their title celebrations and pushed the Saudi Pro League decision into the final round.

After 33 matches, Al Nassr sat top of the table with 83 points, five clear of rivals Al Hilal. With one match left to play compared with Al Hilal's two, Al Nassr knew the crown was within reach but not yet confirmed.

The equation was simple heading into the final round: a victory over Damac on 21 May 2026 would seal the championship. Al Nassr delivered, running out comfortable 4–1 winners to be confirmed as 2025–26 Saudi Pro League champions.

Why it matters

The late title race captured the attention of football fans across Riyadh, Jeddah and beyond, with the Riyadh derby drawing intense local interest before the decisive final-day fixture. The outcome caps a closely contested campaign at the top of the Saudi game.
