Al-Raed secured a narrow 1–0 win over Jeddah in the seventh round of the Saudi First Division, in a match played on 14 October 2026 at Al-Raed Club Stadium in Buraidah.
The decisive moment came in the 36th minute, when Khaled Narey found the back of the net to give the hosts a lead they would protect until the final whistle. The single goal proved enough to settle a tightly contested fixture.
With the three points, Al-Raed moved up to 10 points in the standings, while Jeddah remained on 8 points after the defeat.
The result keeps Al-Raed firmly in the chase at the top end of the table and offers an important boost for the club's home supporters in Buraidah. For Jeddah, the loss means they stay in touch but will be looking to bounce back in the coming rounds.
The Saudi First Division continues to draw strong interest from football fans across the Kingdom, as clubs battle for positions that could shape the promotion race later in the season.
