Al-Wehda secured a 2–1 win over Al-Saqr in the Saudi First Division on 27 October 2026, moving up to second place in the standings. The match was held at King Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in the Al-Shara’i district of Makkah.

The victory lifted Al-Wehda to 15 points after nine matches played, strengthening the club's position near the top of the table as the season continues. Al-Saqr, meanwhile, remained in tenth place with 10 points following the loss.

The result keeps Al-Wehda firmly in the promotion conversation, with second place reflecting a steady run of form across the opening stretch of the campaign. Each point gained at this stage carries added weight in a competitive division where the gap between the leading clubs remains narrow.

For football fans in Makkah and across the Kingdom, the First Division continues to deliver closely contested fixtures. Matches like this one offer local supporters an affordable and accessible way to follow competitive football, while showcasing the depth of talent within Saudi Arabia's second tier.

Al-Wehda will look to maintain its momentum in the coming rounds as it aims to stay in the chase for promotion, while Al-Saqr will seek to recover ground and climb the standings.
