Aramco Lifts September LPG Prices for Asia

Saudi Aramco has set its benchmark liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices for Asian markets for September 2026, placing propane at USD 625 The figures serve as the official contract reference for LPG supplied from Saudi Arabia to buyers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Compared with August 2026 levels, the new benchmarks reflect an increase of USD 5 The prices are set directly by Saudi Aramco and released through its official market circulars, and they apply to loadings and shipments during September 2026, after which fresh benchmarks are typically issued for the following months.

Blended indicative values based on the September figures work out to about USD 642.5 USD 635.5 per tonne for a 70/30 propane-to-butane mix, and USD 649.5 per tonne for a 30/70 mix. In indicative local terms, propane at USD 625 corresponds to roughly SAR 2,345–2,360 while butane at USD 660 sits near SAR 2,480–2,495

These are international contract or official selling prices published in US dollars Domestic retail LPG prices and related fees inside Saudi Arabia are determined separately and are not directly tied to these figures.

For residents and businesses, the benchmarks matter as an indicator of global energy trends rather than a fixed local rate. They are commodity pricing figures issued through Aramco's own channels, and are not managed through government service platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, نفاذ or توكلنا, which handle official services rather than commodity pricing.
