Continuum 26 Digital Art Show Opens in Diriyah

Diriyah Art Futures will host Continuum 26, a new media and digital art exhibition in الدرعية, الرياض, running from 3 September to 7 November 2026. The show is open to the public and marks the second edition of an annual series linked to the venue's Emerging New Media Artists Program.

The exhibition brings together 16 emerging artists from Saudi Arabia and abroad, including Saudi artists Fai Ahmed and Njood Albawardi. Visitors can expect immersive installations, light and sound works, moving image, virtual reality, mixed reality, and AI-based projects developed over a year-long educational program under the mentorship of Louis-Philippe Demers and Rick Treweek, whose works also feature in the show.

What visitors will see

Continuum 26 is built around four thematic focuses: memory as a living process; systems of power and optimization; body, perception and presence; and repetition, rhythm and collective experience. An accompanying public program of talks, workshops, and masterclasses will run throughout the exhibition period.

Diriyah Art Futures is an asset of the Museums Commission under the Ministry of Culture. The venue is located at 3029 King Faisal Road, Al Bujairi, Riyadh 13712. For families, students, and art enthusiasts across the capital, the exhibition offers a rare chance to explore how emerging talents are working with technology and creativity in one setting.
