Esports World Cup 2026 Comes to Riyadh in July

Riyadh is set to host the Esports World Cup 2026 from 6 July to 23 August, a seven-week competition held at Boulevard Riyadh City that further positions the capital as a regional and global hub for youth entertainment and digital sports.

The event carries a total prize pool of USD 75 million (about SAR 281.25 million), the largest in esports by scope. Of that, USD 39 million is allocated to individual game championships and USD 30 million to the Club Championship. More than 2,000 players and 200 clubs from over 100 countries will compete across 25 tournaments in 24 games.

Featured titles for the 2026 edition include Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Warzone, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, EA Sports FC 26, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch 2, PUBG Battlegrounds, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, TEKKEN 8, Rainbow Six Siege, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics and VALORANT, among others.

Beyond the professional tournaments, the event combines gaming festival activities, fan zones and entertainment offerings at Boulevard Riyadh City, targeting young audiences and international visitors alike.

Tickets go on sale 22 January 2026 through the official Esports World Cup website and designated international ticketing partners. Public ticket prices and festival pass costs have not yet been confirmed; only the sale date and channels are currently available. Access is via standard event ticketing platforms and onsite entry.

The event underscores Riyadh's growing role on the global gaming map and adds another major draw for residents and visitors looking for large-scale entertainment during the summer months.
