Free Music Workshops at Tarek Abdulhakim Museum

Tarek Abdulhakim Museum, located within the Tariq Abdulhakim Center in historic Jeddah (Al-Balad), hosted a series of musical workshops and interactive family activities as part of its National Day program. The events ran from 23 to 25 September 2026, daily from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The workshops and interactive family activities were offered free of charge, giving children and families in Jeddah an accessible way to explore music and hands-on cultural experiences over the three-day period.

The museum sits in the heart of Al-Balad, one of Jeddah's most historic districts, making it a fitting setting for a program that blends heritage with creative activities for all ages. Outside the special program, the museum keeps regular hours: Monday to Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight, Friday from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The venue has been steadily expanding its offerings. In March 2024, it inaugurated interactive rooms, including a laser qanun installation that lets visitors engage directly with music in a modern, playful way.

Free community events like these add to Jeddah's growing calendar of cultural activities, offering families a welcoming space to spend time together while discovering the city's musical heritage.
