GEA Expands Late-2026 Events Calendar in Riyadh, Jeddah

The General Entertainment Authority is promoting an expanded calendar of sports events, concerts, and cultural activities set to take place in Riyadh and Jeddah during the later part of 2026. The push aims to draw larger audiences of residents and visitors across the Kingdom's two biggest cities.

The broadened lineup is expected to bring together a mix of live performances, sporting fixtures, and cultural programming, offering families, young people, and expat communities a wider range of options in the coming season. Officials have signaled that the calendar will span multiple categories of entertainment rather than a single type of event.

For residents in Riyadh and Jeddah, the expanded schedule means more choices for weekend outings and evening activities, along with new opportunities for local businesses in hospitality, retail, and tourism that typically benefit from major gatherings.

Why it matters

A fuller events calendar reflects the continued growth of the Kingdom's entertainment sector, which has become a central part of daily life and leisure for both Saudis and expats. Larger and more varied programming also supports the wider goals of diversifying leisure options and boosting domestic tourism.

Further details on specific dates, venues, ticketing, and lineups are expected to be shared ahead of the events. Saudi Living will continue to follow developments and provide updates as more information becomes available.
