Saudi Arabia has launched an international autumn–winter tourism campaign that puts heritage destinations and seasonal cultural events in AlUla, Diriyah and Asir at the centre of its offering for the 2025 season and into early 2026. The push is part of the broader “Saudi Winter” and AlUla Moments programmes.
Together, these initiatives bundle more than 1,200 tourism products and 600 offers across major destinations, with AlUla and Diriyah among the highlights and Asir promoted as a mountain and heritage region. A national winter events calendar is published on the official Saudi tourism portal, listing festivals and family activities across AlUla, Diriyah, the Rialways and other regions, with direct links to ticketing partners.
Winter at Tantora returns
In AlUla, the Winter at Tantora festival runs from 18 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, centred on heritage, concerts and desert experiences in Medina Province. Ticketed activities start from SAR 35, while other event tickets commonly range from SAR 90 to SAR 395, depending on the format and venue.
Visitors can book through experiencealula.com and the Experience AlUla app, the primary platforms for AlUla heritage sites, festivals and activities, including Nabd AlUla Festival, trail races, desert polo and heritage tours. Entry to the Hegra Visitor Centre and heritage site starts from SAR 250, while selected trail races and outdoor sports at the Old Town visitor centre start from SAR 35, with some activities free.
Bookings are made by creating an online account, choosing dates and ticket types, and paying in Saudi Riyal by card. E-tickets are issued digitally with QR codes, and a dedicated Saudi support line is available during business hours for booking and itinerary help.
For residents and visitors planning a winter break, the campaign offers a straightforward way to explore some of the Kingdom's best-known heritage sites and cultural events across multiple regions.
