Jeddah Expands Pink October Breast Cancer Events

Jeddah is hosting a wide range of breast cancer awareness activities throughout October 2026, bringing together shopping centers, hotels, schools, hospitals and running clubs around a shared message of early detection.

U Walk Jeddah hosts the “Forward in Pink” lifestyle exhibition from 21 to 24 October 2026, with a portion of proceeds from participating brands going to support Zahra Breast Cancer Association. On 22 October 2026, Hotel Galleria Jeddah, Curio Collection by Hilton, holds its own Pink October event.

For those who prefer to lace up their shoes, MASAFAT Running Club organizes the Pink Run at Jeddah Corniche Circuit on 24 October 2026, starting at 5:30 a.m. Participants can choose from a 3 km children’s race for SAR25, a 3 km family race for SAR50, or a 10 km race for SAR70.

Education and healthcare institutions are also taking part. Jeddah Prep and Grammar School and Blooms School are running school-based awareness activities, while the International Medical Center is holding October programs at its Jeddah headquarters and at its First Clinic branch in Etoile Center. The Ministry of Health, meanwhile, offers breast cancer awareness information through its Health Awareness Platform.

The spread of these activities across everyday places—malls, hotels, classrooms and the Corniche—makes it easier for residents and families to learn about early detection without any formal registration or government procedures. For many in Jeddah, October has become a practical reminder to check, ask and act.
