Jeddah Mall Guide: New Openings and Dining Spots

Jeddah's retail scene is expanding fast, with a fully operating new mall in the west of the city, a luxury flagship on the way, and established destinations in the north still drawing crowds. Here is a look at three shopping and dining hubs for residents and visitors.

The Village Mall, Al Asalah

Located on Prince Talal bin Mansour Road in the Al Asalah district, next to Al Haramain Road, The Village Mall is a fully operating three-storey shopping and entertainment centre. Spanning about 208,000 m², it houses more than 132 shops, what is described as the largest hypermarket in the city, and an on-site Hilton Garden Inn hotel. It opens daily from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM, with free customer parking. Mid-range fashion items are typically priced around SAR 150–350, while casual dining for one runs about SAR 40–90 and coffee or bakery items about SAR 18–35.

Westfield Jeddah by Cenomi, Al Basateen

In the northern expansion area's Al Basateen district, this flagship lifestyle mall is structurally complete, with an opening scheduled for mid to late 2026. It offers around 104,000 m² of leasable space across three floors, with more than 300 retail units including over 50 flagship outlets. Positioned as a luxury precinct with exclusive brands, dining districts and entertainment, it carries GOLD-LEED sustainability certification and targets 18 million visitors annually. Luxury fashion is expected to start from SAR 800, with premium dining mains typically SAR 90–180.

Red Sea Mall, Ash Shati

On King Abdulaziz Road in the northern suburbs, Red Sea Mall remains a major destination with wide-ranging fashion, electronics, entertainment and dining options, including an Asian Hub food court zone on the second floor. It typically opens from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily.

Together these venues reflect Jeddah's growing mix of everyday shopping, family entertainment and upscale retail — giving the community more choice close to home.
