Mahd Academy Opens Football Tryouts in 16 Cities

Mahd Sports Academy has launched a nationwide football talent search, opening tryouts in 16 Saudi cities that run from September through December 2026. The initiative aims to identify promising young players across the Kingdom for players born between 2013 and 2017.

The tryouts will be held in Abha, Makkah, Tabuk, Jazan, Hail, Qassim, Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Baha, Madinah, Arar, Yanbu, Najran, Sakaka, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Taif and Al-Kharj. This nationwide rollout expands access well beyond a single-city or single-region format, bringing scouting opportunities closer to families in every part of the country.

Interested families can sign up through the try-outs registration page on the academy's official website. the process begins with online registration or nomination, followed by an invitation to attend scheduled tryout assessments and performance trials. No fee has been stated in the available information.

Why it matters

For young players and their families in cities that rarely host formal scouting, the expanded tryouts offer a clear and structured pathway into organized football development. By spreading assessments across 16 locations, the academy makes it easier for talented children to be seen without travelling long distances.

Families who wish to take part should complete the online registration and wait for details of their scheduled assessment. The tryouts run for four months, from September to December 2026, giving ample time for young hopefuls across the Kingdom to join.
