Saudi sports clubs and organizations are expanding youth development and community sports programs across the Kingdom, part of a wider push under Saudi Vision 2030 to raise physical activity and nurture young talent.
The Sports for All initiative continues to encourage community participation in physical activity, including running and cycling events held in cities around the country. The programs reach a broad range of ages, from children and adolescents to university students and young adults between 18 and 25.
Football training and talent spotting
Among the current programs, NEOM's Shuhub Community Youth Football Program offers football training for children across the Kingdom, delivered by coaches affiliated with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation. On the club side, Al-Ittihad Club's Future Tigers Championship gives young players competitive experience and a pathway for talent identification.
In the Eastern Province, a multipurpose Sports for All facility in Dammam is operating in 2026, hosting youth training, community sports, school events, competitions and educational activities under one roof.
Taken together, the programs aim to make organized sport more accessible for families and to build structured routes for promising young athletes. For the community, the expansion means more local opportunities for children and young people to train, compete and stay active.
At this stage, no unified national fee schedule, registration process, validity period or single official application channel has been confirmed for these club and community programs. Families interested in taking part are advised to check directly with the relevant club or program for enrollment details.
