The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance organized a cultural and recreational day in Makkah on October 16, 2026, for the fourth group of guests taking part in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visit Program. The group included 250 pilgrims representing 21 countries.
The event featured a range of cultural and heritage activities designed to introduce guests to Saudi traditions. These included live Saudi coffee demonstrations and tastings, servings of traditional food, and displays highlighting local customs and hospitality.
As part of their stay in Makkah, the guests also visited the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaaba Kiswa, along with the Revelation Exhibition, offering a closer look at both the craftsmanship behind the Kaaba's covering and the history of the holy sites.
The cultural day forms part of the ministry's hosted Umrah program, which welcomes pilgrims from around the world each year. For the wider community, such initiatives reflect the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to share Saudi heritage with international visitors and to enrich the spiritual journey of those performing Umrah.
