Nofa Riyadh, A Radisson Collection Resort, has retained the Safehotels Executive Level Certification for the second consecutive year as of September 2026, confirming its ongoing compliance with independent hotel safety and security standards.
The Executive Level is the highest tier in the Safehotels certification program. It verifies that a property meets rigorous requirements across building safety, fire safety, emergency preparedness, crisis management, and guest protection. For Nofa Riyadh, the renewal followed an independent on-site assessment that reviewed the resort's procedures, systems, documentation, and its security and fire safety arrangements.
The certification is valid for one year and requires annual reassessment to be maintained. The process includes an on-site walk-through, staff interviews, and testing of equipment and systems, before a report is issued and, upon successful compliance, a digital certificate and plaque are awarded. Where any corrective actions are identified, they must be documented and submitted within six months of the audit visit.
Why it matters for guests
For residents and visitors in the Riyadh area, the renewed certification is a reassuring signal that safety standards at the resort are checked by an independent third party rather than relied upon internally. The resort's management, department heads, security team, and staff are responsible for maintaining these procedures year-round to keep the Executive Level status.
Beyond the Safehotels program, Nofa Riyadh's safety profile also includes Saudi Civil Defense certification and Ministry of Tourism approvals for fire safety and emergency preparedness. The resort additionally operates under a Radisson Hotels safety protocol, which covers multi-step cleaning and disinfection procedures and specific arrangements for meetings and events.
