Over One Million Products in 2026 National Sales

More than one million discounted products are now available across Saudi Arabia through the national "2026 Sales" campaign, which runs at retail stores and online outlets. The campaign began at the start of August 2026 and continues until 30 October 2026.

The discounts span all major consumer categories, including food, electronics, clothing, and household goods, giving shoppers in Riyadh, Jeddah, and other cities a wide window of savings across both brick-and-mortar shops and e-commerce platforms.

How businesses take part

Retailers and online stores must obtain an electronic discount licence to join the campaign. Applications are made through the Ministry of Commerce's dedicated sales licensing portal at sales.mc.gov.sa, with instant, simplified issuance that lets establishments print and display their permits in-store and online.

The campaign grants an exceptional three-month discount period that does not deduct any days from an establishment's regular annual discount allowance of 90 days, making it separate from the usual quota.

What it means for shoppers

Consumers can look for official discount permits displayed at participating stores; these permits show the type and duration of the discounts. For seasonal sales issued through the same portal, permit barcodes can be scanned with a mobile phone to verify the discount's authenticity, percentage, duration, and the establishment's data.

Ministry of Commerce inspection teams carry out field tours and monitoring to ensure participating businesses comply with discount regulations, helping protect buyers during the extended sales season.
