Princess Reema Joins Women's Sports Network AWSN

Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States, has joined the All Women's Sports Network (AWSN) as an adviser, in a move announced in October 2026.

In her new role, Princess Reema will support the network's efforts to expand its coverage of women's sports across the Middle East and internationally. The appointment adds a prominent Saudi voice to a platform focused on broadening the visibility of female athletes.

As part of its regional push, AWSN is preparing to hold its first Middle East sports festival in the first quarter of 2027, with an event planned in Saudi Arabia. The festival is expected to bring wider attention to women's competitions and athletes in the region.

For the local community, the development reflects the growing momentum behind women's sports in the Kingdom, where participation and public interest have expanded in recent years. A dedicated event on Saudi soil could offer new opportunities for fans, athletes, and families to engage with women's sport at a larger scale.
