Saudia has partially resumed selected flights from Jeddah to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Amman starting 11 April 2026, following a period of suspensions that affected several regional routes due to airspace disruptions in the region.
During March 2026, the airline suspended some flights linking Jeddah with Amman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, and Bahrain. The suspension was later extended until 12 March 2026 at 23:59 GMT for some routes, while a limited number of exceptional flights continued to operate.
Among the exceptional flights listed were Jeddah–Dubai (SV588), Jeddah–Abu Dhabi (SV570), and Jeddah–Amman (SV631), along with their return services SV589, SV571, and SV632.
What affected passengers should know
Saudia said travelers whose flights were affected could be offered an alternative flight at no additional fare where available. This may include rerouting to the nearest airport in the same country or within 300 miles of the original destination. Alternative travel could be extended up to 14 days from the original travel date on Saudia flights.
For residents and expats in Jeddah with upcoming regional trips, the partial resumption offers more options, but schedules may still shift as the situation develops. Passengers are advised to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport and to review their specific ticket conditions, since exact fees, refunds, and rebooking rules depend on the ticket and airline. No single Saudi government fee applies to these changes.
