Air India Extends Jeddah Flight Suspension to Oct 2026

Air India and Air India Express have extended the suspension of their flights to and from Jeddah until 31 October 2026, affecting travelers connecting to and from the Saudi city.

Under the arrangement, passengers holding confirmed bookings issued on or before 24 October 2026 can choose between flexible rebooking or a full refund, giving affected travelers more control over their plans.

Those originally booked to or from Jeddah through 31 October 2026 may also receive one complimentary rebooking to an operational Air India station in Saudi Arabia, for travel through 14 November 2026, subject to seat availability.

The extended suspension is likely to matter to the large Indian community living and working across the Kingdom, many of whom rely on direct connections for family visits, work travel, and seasonal journeys. Travelers are advised to confirm their booking status and review the available rebooking and refund options before making alternative arrangements.

For reference, fares from Jeddah are listed starting at approximately SAR 928, though availability and prices are subject to change. Passengers should check their itineraries carefully and plan ahead, especially during busy travel periods.
