Riyadh Season Adds Concerts to Boost Tourism

The General Entertainment Authority is overseeing an expanded entertainment program in the capital during 2026, adding new concerts, theatre, comedy, and immersive attractions aimed at boosting domestic tourism and encouraging wider community participation in cultural life.

The 2025–2026 Riyadh Season, running from around 10 October 2025 to early May 2026, features more than 200 concerts spread across 11 entertainment zones throughout the city. The lineup covers Arabic stars, Gulf artists, and major international pop and rock acts, alongside family shows and smaller community events.

Venues and Ticket Prices

Concerts are staged at several key venues. Boulevard City and SEF Arena host major Arabic and New Year's Eve concerts, with higher-tier tickets priced at SAR 1,500 and SAR 2,200. The Abu Bakr Salem Theater offers up to 11 ticket categories, starting around SAR 275 to SAR 295 and climbing to premium seats at SAR 2,200 and VIP at SAR 2,500.

Kingdom Arena in the KAFD district hosts large-scale international shows, with standard tickets from about SAR 250 up to SAR 1,800 for VIP, and some events adding higher "Diamond" tiers. The MDLBeast Soundstorm festival at the Banban Desert north of Riyadh offers single-day passes from around SAR 119, three-day passes near SAR 269, and "Storm Plus" access around SAR 249. Gulf music sessions at Boulevard City and Riyadh Front run from roughly SAR 150 to SAR 700.

For families and community-focused cultural activities such as plays and smaller shows, tickets start around SAR 45, keeping the program accessible across a wide range of budgets. The variety of pricing and venues reflects an effort to welcome residents, expats, and visitors alike, while supporting the wider goals of growing local tourism and cultural engagement in the Kingdom.
