Saudi Esports Federation Backs Talent Pathways

The Saudi Esports Federation has signed a 2026 partnership aimed at building clear pathways for Saudi talent in esports, delivered through the Saudi Esports Academy. The agreement combines structured training with hands-on experience to help aspiring players and specialists move from beginner level toward professional careers.

Under the partnership, participants can access training programs, workshops, seminars, and internships, alongside awareness initiatives and dedicated career-path support. The focus is on equipping Saudi talent with both the practical skills and the professional preparation needed to compete and work within the growing esports sector.

Part of a wider talent push

The agreement is one of several recent moves by the Federation to strengthen the local ecosystem. A related 2026 partnership with Yalla Group established a talent development program through the Saudi Esports Academy, offering coaching, practical experience, and professional preparation for Saudi players. Another 2026 memorandum of understanding with ROC Esports and Team Stallions centered on specialized training, joint initiatives, and career pathways for academy graduates.

A later 2026 report described the broader effort as creating structured training, scouting, development leagues, and talent hubs designed to connect grassroots players with professional opportunities.

For young residents in cities like Riyadh and Jeddah, the initiatives point to more organized routes into a field that has drawn strong interest across the Kingdom. By linking training, mentorship, and real career opportunities, the programs aim to turn casual gaming interest into recognized professional pathways for the local community.
