Saudi Commercial Registrations Top 1.9 Million

Saudi Arabia recorded more than 1.9 million active commercial registrations by the second quarter of 2026, reflecting steady growth in business activity across the Kingdom. Registration and renewal are handled electronically through the Ministry of Commerce or the Saudi Business Center.

New registration fees vary by business type: a sole proprietorship costs SAR 500, a general or limited partnership SAR 1,000, and a limited liability company SAR 1,200. A joint-stock company, simplified joint-stock company, or a branch of a foreign company is charged SAR 1,600. Annual confirmation of registration data costs the same amount as the applicable registration fee.

Other services carry fixed charges. Updating registration data costs SAR 100, and a detailed commercial-registration extract also costs SAR 100. Company registrations can be renewed for periods ranging from one to five years, with renewal taking effect immediately after a successful payment.

How to register or renew

Applicants log in using an account or National Access, select "My Commercial Registrations," and choose issuance or renewal. After entering the required data, the system generates a payment invoice that can be settled electronically through SADAD or by bank card.
