Jeddah will host the Saudi Industry Forum 2026 at Jeddah Superdome from 14 to 16 September 2026, under the theme "Innovation for Sustainability." The three-day event runs daily from 09:00 to 19:00 and is organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers (National Industrial Committee) in cooperation with the Jeddah Chamber and with support from the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
The forum is open to both individuals and establishments. Registration takes place through the event's official online portal, with electronic confirmation and entry handled at the venue using standard national ID or passport verification.
Discussions and workshops focus on accelerating industrial sector growth, expanding investment opportunities, and strengthening integration between the public and private sectors as part of efforts to diversify the national economy under Saudi Vision 2030. Sessions cover supply chains and logistics, building an integrated industrial base, and strategic sectors including automotive, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
Why it matters
Officials note that the number of factories in Saudi Arabia has surpassed 15,000, including more than 347 licensed military industry companies. Recent 2026 data show non-oil activities becoming the main driver of GDP, now accounting for about 55–56% of the economy (around SAR 4.7 trillion). In the first quarter of 2026, non-oil activities grew by roughly 2.7–2.9% year-on-year, while the Industrial Production Index rose 3.8%. In March 2026, non-oil industrial activities increased 1.4% month-on-month despite weaker oil output.
The forum also highlights the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), whose sectors contribute about SAR 1.045 trillion to non-oil GDP, roughly 39% of the non-oil economy. Finance Ministry projections for FY 2026 point to real GDP growth of around 4.6%, led primarily by non-oil activities — a signal of continued momentum for manufacturing, jobs, and investment across the Kingdom.
