Riyadh Economic Forum 2026 Set for October

The 12th Riyadh Economic Forum is scheduled to take place from 12 to 14 October 2026 in Riyadh, bringing together discussions on investment, national talent, regulatory reform, and advanced technologies across key economic sectors.

sessions will focus on attracting investment and strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors. A central theme will be the transfer and localization of knowledge and expertise among Saudi national talent, supporting the Kingdom's push to build local capabilities.

Among the planned strategic studies, one will examine legislation, public policy, and ways to improve the regulatory and judicial environment. Another will explore the role of artificial intelligence and smart-agriculture technologies in strengthening food and water security.

Five strategic studies will also tackle pressing issues, including traffic congestion and how to maximize the economic and social returns of Expo 2030 and the 2034 World Cup, both of which Riyadh and the Kingdom are preparing to host.

For residents and the business community in Riyadh, the forum signals continued attention to practical challenges such as mobility and investment growth, alongside longer-term priorities in technology, agriculture, and major upcoming events. No fees or participation procedures were specified for the forum.
