Saudi Game Champions 3 launched in Riyadh in October 2026, offering a six-month program designed to develop national talent and entrepreneurship in the electronic-game development sector. The program is run by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with the National Technology Development Program.
The program is open to game developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in electronic-game development. Over six months, participants receive specialized mentorship, technical development support, and hands-on project work, along with a three-day Game Jam held in Riyadh.
A core aim of the program is to help participants move from concept to execution, turning ideas into playable prototypes and, potentially, commercial projects. This reflects the growing focus on building a local gaming industry and supporting homegrown talent in a sector with rising demand across the Kingdom.
Registration is through the electronic application form provided by CODE in its official launch announcement. The announcement does not state a participation fee, exact schedule, age or nationality requirement, venue, or any financial award. While a previous edition of Saudi Game Champions stated zero participation fees, this has not been confirmed for the third edition.
Residents and expats interested in taking part should confirm registration status, deadlines, and any eligibility details directly through CODE before applying.
