A third edition of the Saudi Game Pioneers programme has been launched in Riyadh to support local talent and strengthen the Kingdom's electronic games industry. The six-month programme was organised by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with the National Technology Development Program.
The programme is open to Saudi game developers, programmers, designers, digital artists, entrepreneurs, and startup teams. It offers specialised mentoring, practical development, technical training, prototype creation, and support for advancing projects from concept to a working product.
Applicants can take part by submitting their personal or team details along with information about their proposed game project through the CODE digital registration form, which has been identified as the official application channel. After the application review, selected participants move on to the training and mentoring stages.
Why it matters
Electronic games have become a growing focus within Saudi Arabia's digital economy, and programmes like this one aim to give local creators the tools, guidance, and hands-on experience needed to build competitive projects. For developers and small teams across the Kingdom, the six-month structure provides a clear path from early ideas to tested prototypes.
The available announcement did not specify any registration fee, stipend, or financial award, nor did it state eligibility nationality requirements, age limits, an application closing date, session timings, or the venue address. Interested applicants are advised to submit their details through the CODE digital registration portal for the latest information.
