A new multi-purpose stadium is taking shape in Al Khobar's Sports City, where Aramco Stadium is under construction at the intersection of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Road and King Fahd Road. The venue is designed to seat approximately 47,000 spectators and is expected to be completed in 2026.
Located at 2222 King Saud bin Abdulaziz Road, Sports City, Al Khobar 34225, the stadium is set to become one of the Eastern Province's major sporting landmarks. Its official events listing already includes four AFC Asian Cup matches scheduled for January 2027.
the stadium will host Australia against Singapore on 9 January, Palestine against Kuwait on 12 January, Indonesia against Qatar on 16 January, and Iraq against Singapore on 19 January 2027.
Reports suggesting the stadium will be finished by the end of this year and host its first match in January are not confirmed by the available official information. No ticket prices, visitor timings, or general public opening schedule have been published so far.
For residents across the Eastern Province, the project signals a growing roster of world-class venues in the region, in step with the Kingdom's expanding sports and entertainment scene. Saudi Living will share further details on completion dates, ticketing, and public access once officially announced.
