Saudi 2026 Sales Campaign: Over 1M Discounted Items

Shoppers across Saudi Arabia can now choose from more than one million discounted products as part of the 2026 Sales Campaign, which began at the start of August 2026 and continues until 30 October 2026.

Commercial establishments and online stores taking part can apply for discount permits electronically through the sales platform at sales.mc.gov.sa. Businesses are able to obtain, print, and display their permits digitally once approved.

To help protect consumers, each permit carries a barcode that shoppers can scan to confirm that a discount is officially registered and legitimate. This gives buyers a quick way to check that advertised price cuts are genuine before making a purchase.

Why it matters

The campaign runs as an exceptional three-month discount period, and importantly, it does not count against an establishment's regular annual discount-day allowance. Under the existing rules, businesses may hold up to 90 discount days divided into as many as three periods, with each license covering up to 45 days for comprehensive or partial discounts.

For residents and expats in Riyadh, Jeddah, and beyond, the extended window means a longer stretch of verified deals across a wide range of retail categories. Consumers are encouraged to look for the permit and scan the barcode when shopping in stores or online to ensure the offers are properly authorized.
