Family-focused cultural and entertainment programs are expanding across the Kingdom this late summer under the national Saudi Summer 2026 umbrella, with concentrated activity in Aseer, Taif, Qassim, Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province. The events aim to boost family participation and community cohesion during the warmest weeks of the year.
In Aseer, the "Live the Sky" summer season centres on Abha and its surroundings, offering heritage markets, outdoor experiences, art installations, concerts and family activities. The season runs through late summer, with sub-events scheduled between July 23 and August 30, 2026. Entry to themed villages and festivals typically costs around SAR 25 to 40 while some public spaces are free to enter.
Also in Aseer, the "Europe Village" recreates the feel of European towns with cafés, restaurants, shopping and live entertainment. It runs from June 24 to August 30, 2026, with tickets priced at SAR 25. The venue opens from late afternoon into the evening, with extended weekend hours often reaching midnight, and features live shows, children's play areas and cultural-themed markets designed for multi-generational visits.
A lavender-themed experience near Abha will run from August 5 to 25, 2026, featuring immersive lavender fields, interactive art, live entertainment, cafés and food vendors. Sessions run mainly in the evening, typically from around 5 p.m. to midnight, with tickets ranging from SAR 25 to 50 depending on the day and special shows. Discounted or free access may apply for young children at selected times.
Tickets for these events are digital and can be purchased online through the national events platforms using bank cards or digital wallets. Visitors select their event and preferred date and time, complete payment, then present a QR code at the gate via mobile. Tickets are generally valid only for the chosen date and session, so families are advised to book ahead and confirm timings before travelling.
