PIF Net Profit More Than Doubles to SAR 65.1bn in 2025

The Public Investment Fund reported that its net profit more than doubled in 2025, reaching SAR 65.1 billion compared with SAR 25.8 billion a year earlier — an increase of about 152%. The results were disclosed through the fund's own consolidated financial statements.

Gross revenue rose around 9% to about SAR 449.9 billion, up from roughly SAR 413 billion in 2024. Operating profit also more than doubled, climbing to about SAR 78 billion from around SAR 34.7 billion the previous year. Net profit attributable to the owner of the fund reached about SAR 46.4 billion.

Assets under management stood at about SAR 4.54 trillion (approximately USD 1.21 trillion) at the end of 2025, up roughly 5% from the previous year. The fund's annualized total shareholder return since 2017 — the period tied to its Vision Realization Program — was reported at 5.8%, easing from 7.2% measured through the end of 2024 and 8.7% through the end of 2023.

The 5.8% figure reflects long-term performance since 2017, not a single-year result. For calendar year 2025 alone, total shareholder return was negative 4.2%. Total comprehensive income attributable to the owner recorded a loss of about SAR 64.7 billion, despite the positive net profit shown on the income statement.

The fund plays a central role in Saudi Arabia's economic diversification under رؤية السعودية 2030, backing major projects and companies across the Kingdom. Stronger profitability and a larger asset base signal continued expansion, though the softer long-term return highlights the impact of global market conditions on the fund's portfolio.
