Sports for All, King Abdulaziz University Sign Deal

The Saudi Sports for All Federation and King Abdulaziz University have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote physical activity and community sports among university students in Jeddah. The agreement was signed on 28 June 2026.

The partnership is set to deliver a range of activities on campus, including sporting events, participation-based programs, running races, motivational initiatives, and student engagement programs designed to encourage healthier, more active daily habits.

Under the agreement, the university will make its sports facilities and halls available for joint programs and provide logistical access, equipment support, and organizational assistance. The federation will oversee quality standards, handle operational preparations, and provide support services for the planned activities.

Why it matters

The initiative sets an initial annual participation target of at least 500 people, giving students in Jeddah easier access to organized sports and fitness opportunities close to where they study. By combining university facilities with the federation's programming experience, the collaboration aims to build a stronger culture of regular physical activity within the campus community.

No participant fees, pricing, validity period, or registration procedures were announced. Saudi Living will share further details as programs are rolled out.
