Sports Investment Forum 2026 Concludes in Riyadh

The Sports Investment Forum 2026 concluded in Riyadh after a three-day program held from 20 to 22 April 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh. The event brought together investors, sports federations, clubs, and government entities to explore opportunities in the Kingdom's growing sports industry.

The forum featured more than 70 sessions overall, including over 30 strategic panel discussions and 22 specialized workshops, across a multi-track agenda covering investment, tourism, technology, media, and women's empowerment in sports. Over 100 speakers took part, representing local and international stakeholders.

By its close, the forum recorded 103 formal investment requests and 144 expressions of investment interest in sports projects in Saudi Arabia. More than 70 agreements and strategic partnerships were signed between Saudi and international entities. Announced projects included Dammam Sports City, with total planned investments exceeding SAR 1 billion, sports events in the Eastern Region worth more than SAR 15 million, and the establishment of a sports investment fund valued at SAR 700 million.

An agreement was also signed to qualify candidates for 2,000 job opportunities in the Saudi sports sector, targeting national talents to meet investor needs. A dedicated business club and agreement-signing platform operated throughout the forum to facilitate meetings and deals.

The agenda examined sports as an economic driver and its role in Vision 2030, cross-border partnerships, financing and privatization of sports assets, sports tourism, and artificial intelligence in investment. The third day was dedicated to women's empowerment in sports investment, with sessions on women's leagues, female leadership in federations and clubs, and inclusive sports city design. For residents and expats, the growth signals more jobs, facilities, and sporting events across the Kingdom.
