Tadawul Index Hits Highest Close Since May

Saudi Arabia's main stock index closed higher on Monday, 24 August 2026, with the Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rising 0.86% to finish at 11,174.13 points — its strongest close since May.

Trading was active during the session, with total turnover reaching about SAR 6 billion. The advance lifted the benchmark back to a level it had not touched in roughly three months.

The TASI is the primary gauge of the Saudi stock market and reflects the combined performance of listed companies across sectors. A close above the 11,000 mark, at the highest point since May, points to renewed momentum in local trading.

For residents and investors following the market, index movements of this kind offer a snapshot of overall sentiment. A firmer benchmark, paired with solid daily turnover, suggests steady activity among buyers and sellers on the exchange.

Saudi Living will continue to track the market and report on notable moves that matter to the community.
