Saudi club Team Falcons were crowned Rocket League champions at the Esports World Cup 2026, defeating Spacestation Gaming 4–0 in the Grand Final held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France, on 16 August 2026. The decisive match was played live on stage at around 17:00 local time.
The winning roster featured Samy "Dralii" Hajji, Yazid "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin, and Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin. Rw9 was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament, while Dralii secured his third Esports World Cup title with this victory.
The championship earned Team Falcons USD 400,000 in prize money and 1,000 Club Championship points. The Rocket League event ran from 12 to 16 August 2026 with a total prize pool of about USD 1,025,000. With this result, Team Falcons moved to the top of the overall Esports World Cup Club Championship standings on 4,400 points — 300 points clear of second-placed AG.AL International.
The tournament also underlined a strong Saudi presence, with players including Abdullah, Ghaazi, Kiileerrz, Nwpo, Rw9, and trk511 competing. Saudi Arabia accounted for 6 of the 42 players in the event, roughly 14 percent of the field.
For local esports fans, the win marks a milestone: Team Falcons had ranked among the world's top Rocket League clubs and competed for several years at the Esports World Cup before finally claiming their first title in the discipline. The result adds to the growing profile of Saudi teams and players on the global competitive gaming stage.
