93% of Vision 2030 Indicators Meet Annual Targets

The Council of Economic and Development Affairs has reviewed the performance of government entities in implementing رؤية السعودية 2030 during the first quarter of 2026, alongside a set of key economic indicators.

government entities improved their performance in achieving Vision 2030 targets compared with the final quarter of 2025. The Council also examined the latest quarterly report covering the vision's initiatives and performance indicators.

The most recent figures showed that 93% of Vision 2030 performance indicators had either achieved their annual targets or were close to doing so, pointing to steady progress across the programs that make up the national transformation plan.

On the economic front, the review noted an inflation rate of 1.8% in July 2026 and a private-sector Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) of 53.1, a reading that reflects continued expansion in non-oil business activity.

For residents and businesses across الرياض, جدة and other cities, the indicators offer a snapshot of a stable economic environment. Moderate inflation helps protect household spending power, while a healthy PMI signals ongoing demand and hiring in the private sector, where many expats and Saudis work. Together, the figures point to steady momentum in the reforms shaping daily life and job opportunities in the Kingdom.
