Riyadh hosted the second season of the AGC Esports Carnival KSA, a free-entry, two-day gaming and esports event held on 14–15 August 2026 at Riyadh Park Mall. The carnival was organized by HUAWEI AppGallery in partnership with Hamat, with no ticket or registration fee for visitors.
Over the two days, the event drew around 8,000 visitors and offered a total prize pool of SAR 200,000 in rewards distributed across the various competitions. Attendees took part in a mix of competitive and casual gaming tournaments, alongside digital art displays, interactive technology activations, and live entertainment hosted on-site.
Tournament titles included at least one battle royale game, as well as popular mobile games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Tarbi3ah Baloot, and Candy Crush, all played on-site during the carnival.
Part of a year-round gaming program
Season 2 is part of the AppGallery Gamers Cup 2026 program in Saudi Arabia, a year-round initiative that runs multiple competitive gaming and community events across the Kingdom. It followed Season 1, which was held earlier in May 2026 at The View Mall in Riyadh, and was likewise organized as an on-ground mall activation.
Riyadh Park Mall, located in Riyadh's northern area near the King Fahd Road corridor, is a currently operating shopping and entertainment destination that regularly hosts large-scale public events. The carnival activation ran within the mall's usual operating hours, with activities concentrated in the afternoon and evening.
For the local community, the free-entry format made the event accessible to families, casual players, and dedicated gamers alike, reflecting the continued growth of Saudi Arabia's gaming and esports scene.
