Al Ahli Cruise Past Al Kholood 3-0 in Season Opener

Al Ahli began their Saudi Pro League season with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Al Kholood at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah on 16 May 2026.

The hosts controlled the match and found the net through three different scorers. Ivan Toney, Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, and Enzo Millot each contributed to the clean-sheet win, giving Al Ahli a positive start to their campaign.

The result showcased a balanced attacking effort, with goals shared between the club's international signings and its home-grown talent. Keeping a clean sheet while scoring three times offered early encouragement to fans ahead of the busy fixtures to come.

For football supporters across Jeddah and the wider Kingdom, opening-round matches set the tone for the season and draw large crowds to venues such as Alinma Stadium. The strong start will raise expectations for Al Ahli in the weeks ahead, while Al Kholood will look to regroup and build momentum after the loss.
