Al Ittihad Fall 1-5 to Al Qadsiah in Jeddah

Al Ittihad suffered a heavy home defeat on 21 May 2026, losing 1-5 to Al Qadsiah in a Saudi Pro League fixture at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah.

The scoreline saw the visitors dominate the encounter, with Al Ittihad only able to muster a single goal in front of their home supporters. Youssef En-Nesyri netted for the hosts, but it was not enough to trouble a clinical Al Qadsiah side.

Julián Quiñones, Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, and Musab Al Juwayr were among the scorers for Al Qadsiah, who ran out convincing winners on the night. The four-goal margin represents one of the more significant results of the round.

The match, played at the venue also known as King Abdullah Sport City, drew attention from football fans across Jeddah and the wider Kingdom. Al Ittihad remains one of the most followed clubs in Saudi football, and home matches at the stadium continue to attract large local crowds.

For supporters in Jeddah, the result is a disappointing one that will spark plenty of discussion ahead of the club's upcoming fixtures. Al Qadsiah, meanwhile, will take considerable confidence from a commanding away performance in the Saudi Pro League.
